Job Description:
We are looking for a Website Design professional to join our team. Duties including design and production of websites, regular content updates and working to regularly maintain website technologies and software. Including assisting with content design and development.
We are looking for a Website Design professional to join our team. Your duties will include understanding requirements, creating mock-ups, and designing layouts while balancing visual appeal, reader-friendliness and technical feasibility of the designs. You will also be responsible for regular updates and maintenance of multiple websites.
Responsibilities:
- To understand our partner client business strategies
- To contribute to the development of online marketing and branding strategies.
- To implement digital online marketing and branding strategies
- Create appealing website designs including wireframes or mockups, and customize as per specifications.
- Design layouts for multiple platforms including mobile, tablet, and desktops.
- Knowledge of website management, including servers, downtime, taking regular backups etc.
- Identify and fix functionality issues.
- Work with graphic design team to develop and implement visual elements such as graphics, icons, and logos.
- Research and evaluate new design trends.
- Continually educate and train in industry-leading software and design standards.
- Willing to work both independently and collaborate within a team environment.
- Contribute to the development of online marketing and branding strategies.
Requirements:
- University degree or college diploma in a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in website design and development or related field.
- Proficient in WordPress and other common content management systems/software, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma preferred
- Experience in motion graphics/animation would be an asset.
- Flexible, quick learner and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
